Best Junkyards in Illinois

It took me a while to write this review for the rims a purchase from this company. I originally ordered 4 rims from them. I was working with a guy name Jay Hedrick. He reached out to me and told me one of the rims were bad. So there were only three rims he could sell to me. I made sure to ask him if any of the wheels are cracked or bent before buying. He reassured me that there is no such issue other than just curb rash and scuffs. I have emails as proof if they try to deny it. I eventually picked the three rims up after they arrived at their shop. Initially, It took me a while to get the wheels refinished, painted and the right tires before getting them tire mounted at a shop. By then, the return warranty was up. When I eventually got them installed, the workers at my local tire shop told me one of the rims was extremely bent. It was so bad, I am surprised that jay told me by email:"my shipping department looked them over pretty good". I guess they never did or did a bad job at looking them over. By then, It was too late to get a refund since it took me some time to get rim refinished and painted. I had no clue that one was bent until i took it to the tire shop. It turned out that 2 out of the 4 rims they were selling were bad, yet they still sold me one of the bad ones. I am dissatisfied by my experience with this company. Not sure if they will do anything but for anyone buying rims from them, make sure to check them at a shop as soon as possible. I trusted jay and ended up being screwed.

Took in 1 55 gallon bag of smashed cans and a few handfuls of scrap copper got about $32 was pretty satisfied with the amount and the people are very nice.🤓 …

Totally Awesome. Best pick your own part place I have been to in Illinois. People was cool. Lots of cars and trucks. I had a blast even in 10° weather and everything covered in snow. At least I didn't have to slide in the mud.. hahahaha

I needed inexpensive,but reliable used tires for an older vehicle we have and 3 bs was great and I got what we needed at a fair price. 3 days later again the old van wouldn,t start and found the battery wouldn,t charge so again 3 b,s auto rescued us with a reliable used battery at a low price and a yr warrenty on it.worked great .I had never been to 3 bs before but glad I went.paul was very helpful and very nice and so was the young lady working the counter.As older people on limited budgets I appreciate all their help and done in a timely manner.Thanks again.Glad your there.

My transmission on my 2010 Audi S4 went out. I was out of any sort of warranty so a brand new 12k transmission from Audi was not an option as that is the value of my car. Transmission shops in my area were incompetent to rebuild it so low mileage used was the only option on the table. The transmission for these cars are difficult to find as they are rare. I had to dig through every possible wrecking yard in this country to find it. Todd was very helpful and met every request I had. He provided pictures of the donor car; had it pulled and on a pallet ready for shipping ahead of schedule and prior to my payment. He was willing to negotiate and included extra parts I requested. The transmission showed up and there was minor damage that would cost a couple hundred dollars to fix. This was due to the shipping company. Todd went out of his way and refunded the cost to fix it while he dealt with the shipping company! This family owned business treated me right and I have a running car again! They genuinely care and took away much of the stress I was having with getting this car fixed! Thank you from Gig Harbor, WA!

Deposit remember once you put it down you won't get your cash back so just make sure you want to buy whatever it is your buying unless you want a store credit or 30% restock fee. Customer service is great. I bought a transmission and I'm hoping it will last. I will keep you guys updated on my over all experiences. So far they were really helpful and delivered my heavy part to my trans shop so fingers 🤞

Very helpful staff! They pick up their phones. Good selection. If you are unsure about the price of a part, ASK, before you waste your time pulling it. I went to 3 yards and watched people in line act surprised when they went to pay, leaving the part behind. I will return for more car parts in the future.
