Called a month after purchasing motor because they sold me the wrong motor. Not only were they not helpful, they hung up in my face multiple times and cursed at me repeatedly on the phone. Furthermore, once they realized their mistake, they only offered me my money back on the motor. No labor offer, no apology, no offer to give anything towards gas as I live 3 hours away. To add, they didn’t have the motor I needed on the yard, so now I have two choices, drive ask the way over there again and lose it on them for their extremely poor professionalism to get my money back and lose more money. Or keep the motor and sell it myself. Sad thing is, I own plenty of cars and was planning to use them from now on, DON’T DO BUSINESS WITH THEM, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

Order part from vehicle on lot. Even though short staffed and behind on pulling parts kept me informed the entire time. Part was exactly as described. Did transaction entirely over phone and pickup on person. Will gladly do business with them again. Much different experience than I had as a kid where we had to pick our on part and search for vehicles ourselves.

First of all I’ve never been to this place. So I enter ride over scale.. because I clearly don’t know what I’m doing. I have a bucket. Angela was not very welcoming. The Hispanic in the back tried his best to help, he could tell I was aggravated. It’s like they didn’t want me there. I’m sorry. Just trying to do business. Then I weigh my buckets Before I leave and they short me. Then only gave my $1.40 my #1copper when (I called and was told $1.45) then only 1.20 for my #2. Weird like why would you guys prey on me ? clearly Thought I didn’t know. Call around #2. Is up $2.30. I hate to play the race card, but why did I deserve that treatment? Then force me say thank you at payout when, we clearly knew you ripped me off, which I’m not even that upset about it’s just how unwelcoming Angela was or they weigh in lady around 12:49 today. Not to mention .. I never signed anything and most the time you have a picture taken. Not this time.. tale tell signs of knowing you got beat . If you didn’t want my business, you sure got the message across . Went to another scrap yard people were happy and I got $2.65 x 53 pounds (#1) for my copper ! Lesson learned . First time everything.
Always use them when i am home. They are old family friends. And they are just the absolute best from top of the company to it's employee's all with great attitude and smiles

In and out in less than thirty minutes, great service, part worked perfectly. Thanks.
Pretty good place to find used parts. Freemans an ok dude to deal with
Horrible experience. Went in for something super simple and can put with an even bigger problem. I purchased a windshield wiper arm. It was confirmed that the arm was for the year and make of my car. I asked if I could pay extra for him to put it on and he agreed. He wasn't able to put it on claiming that it was becuase I needed a nut. I noticed that the wipers were no longer working after he tried putting it on. He claimed the wiper motor was not working. The wiper motor was working completely fine prior to him touching my car. I took it to my trusted mechanic and it was confirmed that not only did the wiper arm Hammett sold me was NOT for my year and make car, but he also tore my wiper transmission when he ripped the arm off of it. Prior to me even going to Hammett, I took it by my mechanic to confirm what was needed. It was confirmed that I only needed the arm as the wiper motor and wiper transmission were perfectly fine in great condition, I had also driven the car in the rain the day before and the wiper worked just fine. I called and text the guy who damaged the car and sent photos and I have yet to receive a response. Do not only did i pay $40 for an arm that doesn't fit my car (Oriellys Auto Parts confirmed that the Hammett arm was likely for a 2003 not a 2008), but I also had to pay $75 for the part Hammett broke as well as $75 for a brand new arm from The dealership. This was a $40 fix that ended up costing me $190! This is a real review. I would not suggest taking your car or buying any parts from this company. The honest thing to do would have been to at the very LEAST reimburse me for the arm that didn't fit the car. I gave them that opportunity by calling and texting prior to this review and I didn't receive any response back.

Yep straight con games. Then get rude if you don’t like it. Selling something and say I don’t know if it works are not. If it don’t work or don’t fit you’re not going to get your money back we give a store credit. It’s a junk yard who needs a store credit you can’t buy the part that you need a this time. I purchased a radio from a wrecked car same year. I left the store and realized my radio and that one looked the same but was a different brand. Well they were closed on Sunday and Monday was a holiday I goes back on Tuesday and tell them this not the right radio he start pointing at all the signs hanging up in the top of the building. I told them I’m filing my complaint with the attorney general office, know one should be ripped out like this in these times or anytimes.I gave a 1 star because it’s the only way to write a review. I saw another costumer upset but didn’t really pay attention. Don’t waste your time and money here.
