Love the fact they are independent owned and the guys, they are awesome. Dad and son team that literally helped me in a bad situation. New engine from NV in October was leaking oil everywhere. Found engine was bad and they took on handling this even though it was under a warranty I had been fighting the other business for months, literally. But they dealt with the other shop and Tates ordered the 2nd engine and my goodness she purrs like a kitten again. I've used them before but I could not be more thankful to Kurt for taking this on. You want good work done trust me they do it! I won't use anyone else to do anything to my cars. Thanks guys for all hard work. I appreciate you and God bless.

Went by to look for a part and the door was locked and a sign on the door said to call a number because they were in the shop working, no problem. I called a couple of times and no answer but I figured that they couldn't get to the phone,no biggie. Next day I went by and the sign was on the door again but I got thru this time, they didn't have what I was looking for this time but I have bought from them before and they were good to deal with.
When you need a part don't go here, she's never open and doesn't answer the phone. The owner let's her personal life come before her business.

The most unfriendly and unhelpful people I've ever met. Kenny is rude to not only customers but is so ugly to their employees. It is hard to be in this environment. And you can tell Harold hates his job. I just don't understand, why be this way? They will continue to sell parts but just a warning: you will be there for at least a few hours, the male staff are the worst I have ever dealt with, and you will probably pay too much for what you are after. Just my two cents.
Give Rick a shout if you need atv parts or service. He had what I needed for my daughters atv right in time before Christmas.

My company bought a car, they did not have the title signed by the customer they bought it from nor any contact information that is needed to get the car registered. The miles on the title did not match the miles on the car. When I called for assistance I was told he was busy and would try to see what he can do in between his time. He was very rude on the phone. He will not even give us our money back and come get this car. Now we are stuck with a car we can not get a title for and sell. Would not recommend them.

Been here many times. I’ve always enjoyed the experience. The place is organized, and if you are unsure of where to look, the employees will be happy to help you by providing a map of the yard and where you’re going to find certain vehicles. There’s a $3 entry fee, which isn’t bad. Once you open the doors to the junkyard, it’s almost another world. There are vehicles as far as the eye can see. Just make sure to bring all the tools you’ll need. Wheelbarrows are provided. Once you pull the parts you need, there are pumping sinks by the door with gritty soap so you can wash your hands if you’d like. Prepare to get a little dirty when removing parts lol. The parts are by far priced cheaper than you could get anywhere else. For instance a lightly worn headlight assembly for a Honda Odyssey was over 80% off what you would pay brand new. So you definitely can get oem products for a great deal! I like LKQ because of how neat and organized the experience is. And the cool thing is it sits not too far from towering Lookout Mountain. So you get a pretty cool view while you’re working. One last word of advice tho, make sure to stay hydrated and bring something to drink! Because once you’re deep in the yard, it’ll take you sometimes several minutes just to walk back. Happy pulling!
