Best Junkyards in Pennsylvania

I am the owner of West Pennsboro Auto Wreckers in Carlisle PA. I was provided a container by the owner Joe Darrah for the collection of scrap steel. This container, full of scrap steel, number 303722, was picked up from my yard on 12/12/2022 around 5 pm. Via communication with the owner, I was advised that I would receive a check for this container weight. Last communication with Joe was on January 26th via text with another reassurance that I would be paid. He has not responded to any more communications and I do not have payment. It is unfortunate that businesses and consumers fall victim to a person/business such as this that operate on bad faith practices. After reading these Google reviews, it appears that this business has repetitively failed to pay a large consumer base in this area. I would advise consumers to read these reviews carefully and be wary of this business - I should have done so as well.

AE Minotto Auto parts has a large selection of vehicles. They keep a detail inventory and have great customer service. You have the option of browsing their auto salvage yard or they will assist you and get the part ready if need be. Reasonable prices always a smile in convenient location.

The gentleman that owns this place is outstanding and generous I think he'd give the shirt off of his back if it came down to it !

Best scrap yard around hands down!!! The guys are always willing to help you just wish people would tip them more those guys work hard been going for 20yrs and will for another 20 And these people on here talking about why one’s not smiling at you or giving or everyone looks miserable Well Tommy’s putting his neck on the line by metal from us which he has no idea that the market could just drop any day and he’s stuck with all that so if you wanna smile go down the street to Fridays there’s plenty of them for you and freaking tip these dudes Especially people coming with 10 different types of metals all jammed in your truck and you have no idea what it anything is and they have to separate it all for you thanks So if you wanna scrap yard that wouldn’t rip u off and give you a good price Wilcox is your best best bet!!!!! Hands down!!!!! ..

Could've been higher but the women that work there are just extremely rude. Every man that's ever answered the phone there has been nothing but nice and helpful the women that answer the phones are not. I've been hung up on by them multiple times while asking for parts. Very rude and unprofessional. And since when do salvage yards charge the same as new for some parts? If Novack has it Donawitz has it for cheaper with nicer people.

Great communication, and fast service. I was able to get rid of my old junker fast with a great price. Thanks for helping me move on with life quickly and so easily. The cash was great, of course, but the process was super easy and quick! I will definitely check with them first for tire/parts or use again to sell a vehicle! It's a no brainer!

I am more than pleased with the prompt and courteous service I received. Within about two hours or less after contacting Philly Cash For Cars, my car was on its way. I received the exact amount for my vehicle that I was quoted on the phone. I would DEFINITELY recommend them to anyone looking to have a car removed. Hi! Got a 2008 Xterra rear differential from Nick's yard. When I opened it up everything was like new! Not even any oil sludge at all! You can see the pride in this mans work! It shows the moment you walk in!. I'm so happy to have found Nicks Auto yard! Nick and his staff were just so great too! Thank-you guys! : )

All the great reviews here on Google are well-deserved. Oliver was courteous, pleasant and efficient with my late evening call. Next day, via text, Abel kept me informed of his schedule and got my car hooked up quickly. It was all so much easier than I could have expected. After 263,000 miles, I think my 2007 Ford sedan was happy to be headed back to PA to rest in peace or in pieces. I just wish I had petted the dog! 🙂 Definitely will recommend this company to others. 👍✔
