Fair price, worked well with my needs. Supplied a part on short notice and saved me money by leaving on a few extra bolts I was missing.
Best Junkyards in Ohio
Top-rated Automotive Junkyards and Recycling companies meticulously vetted and reviewed within the Ohio area.
Everyone was great and they had everything I needed plus... The price was great, overall a great experience. They are very easy to work with. They went beyond and above, from other salvage yards do. I will be going back and recommending them to anyone who asks me.
Called week in advance and ask for a gas tank for Kia. They stated they had one, and it would be outta the car and laying in backseat. Arrived there this morning,my husband went in to inquire about it. They sent him way down yonder (thru junk yard, way in back) to where Kia was. No mind you, my Husband isn't no spring chicken he is 50 yrs old. He walks all way to back in Mudd up to his ankles!! An guess what, no gas tank ready like they said!?! But, if it had been ready what did they expect him to do honestly?? Carry it all the way up?!? This is crazy an unacceptable. Most junkyards have tractors, ATV's etc to haul things up. What kinda hospitality is that to send your customer?!? Awful.
Please make sure you have your title notarized they do not tell you that when the tow truck pick your vehicle up. I will advise you if you don't have it notarized have your vehicle towed at that time or they will charge you for a dry run which is 65.00 off what they offered to take your vehicle.
I found what I was looking for for a very good price. The guy at the check out register Sunday morning, who only worked there for a few weeks was very friendly and helpful. I understand they don't have a phone number but you can look up parts online. I will definitely recommend this place.
I have been going to Westside Auto for many years and they have always been helpful and they typically have my parts. I love Westside.
One of the better yards around, glad they don't mind you pulling your own parts. Well organized and clean yard. Nothing to do with business but if you do not know how to pull a part, stay out of yard and let them pull it. The fender I needed was perfect except at top where someone who didn't know how to remove hidden bolt bent corner of fender up. So many grade A parts get damaged or destroyed by you incompetent, wanna be mechanic or body guys.
DROVE 2.5 HOURS BECAUSE THEY TOLD ME I WOULD HAVE TO PAY FIRST, BEFORE THEY PULL A FENDER!!! Alright whatever... So I drive the ((2.5 HOURS)) to get there, and these sorry A$$£$ tell me it's going to be (((3 DAYS))) 3 days!!!!!! Really?? They wouldn't let me pay over the phone nor did they say not one word about it taking 3 days to pick up anything.... One of the worst salvage parts dealer I've ever seen!! Will NEVER GO BACK!!!!! POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE TO TOP IT OFF!! COMPLETE A$$£$
The owner and guys who work there are helpful and friendly- they hooked me up with a spare for my trailer, and a set of rims with basically brand new tires for my truck (picked from the yard). The cars in the yard are pretty close together , so bring a jack and tools and maybe some wood blocks. The quality of the parts is excellent and the tire shop is great too. They make money and you save money its a win win.
