Really don't like leaving 1 star reviews but after dealing with the guys at the non Ferris metals side it's needed. Brought in 338 lbs of automotive wiring harness still in sheathing and with all the connectors and such. When calling before hand was told it would be $.80-$1/lb same with other yards as it's classed as #2 Insulated wire but has done business scrapping the shells of the cars harness came from at Paul's without issues befoe. Upon arrival it was graded as Christmas lights at $.15/lb. Management didn't care and also refused to return the harness though a ticket had not been cashed out as it has already started being processed less then 20 minutes after dropping off also refused to let me walk back to see that it had been started even offered to sign any waiver required. Auto yard itself is pretty nice with a decent though gets very muddy and messy.
Best Junkyards in Indiana

Employees are very customer oriented. Yard is very organized and found most vehicles in their assigned lots. Found a dog house for my van but was not sure if it would fit. Prices are a little high but at least theu told me to keep receipt and have 90 days to return. wow! I love this place :)
Tried calling other places and never got calls back. Called Tammy's and immediately got a pick up time and withing 2 hours someone came and got my car and gave me the money! And more than the other places quoted me too! The lady that took my call and the driver were both friendly too. Great all around experience.
I can’t say enough about how Jon and the crew at Baseline 4x4 takes care of their customers!! If you are looking for Rust Free Jeep parts this is the place. Helpful and willing to assist to get you the right parts.
Very reasonable and knows his inventory
The sign on the front of the building says they close at 5pm. However at 4:40 pm I was not allowed to enter to grab a 2 bolt tail light that would've taken more time to walk to then remove. Spent about ten minutes before walking in finding a 5/16 socket in my truck to save myself from having to carry a heavy tool bucket, instead that 10 minutes cost me a whole other trip to a **different auto yard**. One that hires people with common decency and doesn't falsely advertise their operating hours.
Most ridiculous place I've ever been to! I called 8 times no answer. I called and got the owner to complain he didn't even get an answer! Sold me a bad tire and would not refund me. I asked him 3 times and the guy probably did not understand me but he told me it's okay. It was horrible customer service. Never had this happened before.
Midtown recycling and Westside Midtown car parts have given me the best customer service I have ever experienced in the salvage industry. They were honest, fast, and friendly and I would recommend to anyone that is trying to sell there car for cash or purchase car parts to give Midtown your business. If they don't have the specific part that you want they will steer you in the right direction to get what you need. They really do put there customers above all. I salute you Ace Midtown.
Great place to get my auto parts very reasonably on prices nice products. It's nice to call a place and ask if they have a certain part and rather they do or not they will call you back. Other places don't bother calling back if they don't have it. They leave you waiting for hrs until u decide to call them back
