Great place and family owned. Victor / Jason/ Doug/ Brittany are a team. They can get their hands in it if it’s not in the yard. This is my go to salvage yard.

Prices are fair, and the selection is top notch. They do offer to remove tires from rims which is very nice in a pinch. Most of the cars there are not up on stands so you will need to ask them to send a forklift but they are very prompt about helping you out. Front desk staff are also very nice and helpful which is rare for some of these yards.
Friendly service and fair prices

I recently worked with Backwoods through Peddle to sell my broken down 2001 Nissan Sentra. Noelle was kind and very accommodating. She showed up, I signed the papers, she paid me, and I was able to leave and go about my day before she even began loading my car onto the trailer. A bit after I left, I remembered that I forgot the license plate on the car. I immediately called Noelle and without hesitation she agreed to mail it to me and charge me nothing even though I offered to pay for shipping. Backwoods made it an easy task to have my old non-running car towed away.

Ignore the bad reviews, this place doesn’t take advantage of anybody. It’s not their responsibility to make sure you’re getting the right size. Workers were very nice and very helpful and had the rare hard to find parts that I needed. Marina is also super nice.

Incredibly expensive I moved to Spartanburg recently and was a first-time visitor to any LKQ. I needed plastic trim parts for my Vibe, and availability in the yard was good, but I was charged an incredibly high price for them at checkout. I expected them to cost a couple of bucks each; or maybe five bucks each, but no! The total came to $39.91. Forty bucks for two pieces of plastic? I was even charged a core and a Warranty price for both. Who needs a 90 day Warranty for a piece of plastic? Do you add a "core charge" to everything? LKQ you have a good inventory but your prices are absurdly high. As a first-time customer, I feel like I was taken advantage of. Terrible first impression.
